The WBAs (World Beer Awards) are the global awards for the absolute best, internationally recognised types of beer. The annual tasting selects, honours and promotes the ‘World Best Beers’ for all customers and retailers around the globe.
The tasted beers are judged blind by an independent regional jury in Asia, Europe and the USA, which determines the variety winners in each group. The variety winners from all regions are tested against each other to determine the best beer style. From these global winners, the world’s best category can be determined, from which the final award for the world’s best beer is made.
