Spezial Gold
The Spezial Gold has demonstrated a remarkable performance for many years. As the most experienced athlete in the Waldhaus family, our golden boy already shone in the team of the founding father Johann Schmid.
Originally, the Lager was known as a beer for construction worker’s – but here it has worked its way to the golden top. Firstly, the ‘Spezial Gold’ won a gold medal at the European Beer Star and then the world championship title at the International Beer Cup Japan.
It has even topped the podium of the German Agricultural Society (DLG) 31 times. The ‘Spezial Gold’ has therefore been crowned as Lager Champion over and over again and achieved the status of a golden classic.
