Highest German quality award – brewery of the year
In 2013, Waldhaus was awarded the Federal Price of Honour by the Federal Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Consumer Protection (BMELV) for the third time – to our great delight, it was the Federal Honour Award in Gold.
The brewery that achieved the best overall result of all participants in the DLG quality test is celebrated with this highest honour that a company in der brewing industry can receive for its quality performance.
Waldhaus can officially call itself the Best Brewery in Germany of the Year 2013.
Prime minister Winfried Kretschmann is proud that the best brewery in Germany comes from his state and toasts this with the head of the brewery, Dieter Schmid (1st from left) and the two Waldhaus master brewers Bernhard Ebner (2nd from the left) and Bernhard Vötter (1st from the right) with a Waldhaus Diplom Pils.
