The International Institute for Quality Selections was founded in Brussels in 1961.
The quality awards are judged by an independent panel of experts: more than 70 specialists, Michelin-starred chefs, members of the French Culinary Academy, brewing engineers, university professors, nutrition and health advisors, chemists, famous oenologists and master sommeliers present these coveted quality awards every year.
After the various evaluation and tasting sessions, an average value is calculated and the respective product is honoured.
The 5 absolutely most outstanding products in their class also receive the ‘Prize of the Jury’ award.
This jury prize reflects the favourite of the vintage and is Monde Selection’s special recommendation of the year.
